The 2025 budget will fund scholarships for 6,500 indigent students and establish six new federal institutions in Zaria Federal Constituency, according to Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajuddeen.
During a Ramadan Iftar event, Tajuddeen announced that 2,500 students will receive scholarships soon, while an additional 4,000 will benefit later in the year.

Federal Veterinary and Animal Husbandry
Federal Technical College
Centre for Management Development
Technology Incubation Centre
School for the Disabled (Primary and Secondary)
Four New Federal Secondary Schools
Tajuddeen emphasized that these additions strengthen Zaria’s status as an educational hub and reaffirm the government’s commitment to human capital development.
He also urged citizens to pray for President Bola Tinubu, stating that his administration’s holistic approach has improved security and economic stability.
Meanwhile, Tinubu recently approved licenses for 11 new private universities, further expanding Nigeria’s higher education landscape.
