In preparation for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), the Adamawa State NYSC Secretariat convened a high-level strategic security meeting to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the exercise.

The meeting, held on July 25, 2025, brought together heads of security agencies and key camp officials to evaluate and enhance security arrangements ahead of corps members’ arrival.

In her address, the State Coordinator, Mrs. Osoroh Caroline Chinedu, urged all security stakeholders to collaborate in developing a robust and unified security framework for the orientation camp. She emphasized the importance of inter-agency synergy in achieving efficient camp operations and safeguarding all participants throughout the three-week program.

“The safety of corps members remains our top priority. We must continue to work together to deliver a seamless orientation exercise free of threats or disruption,” Mrs. Osoroh stated.

The Camp Commandant, in his remarks, commended the existing cooperation among security agencies within the state and expressed optimism that the sustained partnership would translate into improved coordination and operational success during the orientation period.

The meeting marks a proactive step by the NYSC Adamawa Secretariat in ensuring that all logistics and safety structures are firmly in place ahead of the national service exercise.
