ASSW Partners Kaduna Students Career Expo to Boost Student Career Opportunities

The Association for Students Social Welfare has announced a strategic partnership with the Kaduna Students Career Expo aimed at connecting students with career opportunities, mentorship and professional development platforms.

The collaboration, unveiled on March 8, 2026, is expected to bridge the gap between aspiring students and industry players by providing access to career insights, networking opportunities and skill-building sessions.

Founder of the Association for Students Social Welfare, Victor Adetolaju, said the partnership reflects the organisation’s commitment to supporting students’ professional growth and preparing them for the competitive labour market.

Adetolaju noted that the association would leverage its network to facilitate funding, attract high-profile speakers and connect the Kaduna Students Career Expo with strategic investors.

“We are thrilled to join forces with KDSCE to create transformative opportunities for students in Kaduna and beyond,” he said.

“By combining our resources and expertise, we can amplify the impact of this expo, helping students gain invaluable insights from industry leaders and paving the way for meaningful career pathways.”

The Kaduna Students Career Expo is expected to host its maiden event later this year, featuring workshops, networking sessions and interactions with professionals from different sectors.

With ASSW’s involvement, the organisers said the event will attract notable speakers and potential sponsors to enhance its reach and impact.

Partnership and Sponsorship Lead for the Kaduna Students Career Expo, Umoru Abdurrafiu, said the collaboration aligns with the expo’s mission of connecting students with practical career opportunities.

“Partnering with ASSW aligns perfectly with our mission to connect students with real-world opportunities. Their support in funding facilitation and speaker recruitment will make our expo a cornerstone event for career development in Nigeria,” he said.

The organisers noted that the initiative is expected to benefit thousands of students by providing mentorship opportunities, exposure to career pathways and access to job prospects.

The Association for Students Social Welfare focuses on promoting the social, academic and professional welfare of students across Nigeria through advocacy, events and partnerships that support education and career readiness.

The Kaduna Students Career Expo, on the other hand, is designed as a platform that links students with industry professionals, offering career insights, mentorship and networking opportunities. Its inaugural expo is expected to inspire and equip young Nigerians with the skills needed to thrive in their careers.
