The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Olakunle Nafiu, has urged corps members and staff to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, renewal, hope and love as Christians worldwide celebrate Easter.

In an Easter message issued through the NYSC Directorate of Information and Public Relations, led by Caroline Embu, the Director-General described the season as a significant reminder of values that align closely with the objectives of the scheme.

He called on members of the NYSC community to reflect these virtues in their daily conduct and interactions, while remaining committed to the principles of national unity, selfless service and mutual respect.

According to Nafiu, Nigerians must continue to harness the country’s diversity as a source of strength and work collectively towards building a more peaceful, united and prosperous nation.

He expressed optimism that the spirit of Easter would renew the commitment of corps members and staff, deepen their sense of service and inspire hope and fulfilment in their responsibilities.

Reaffirming the scheme’s dedication to national development, the NYSC boss reiterated its enduring motto: “Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve.”

He also extended Easter greetings to corps members and staff across the country, encouraging them to remain steadfast in their service to the nation.
