The Association for Students Social Welfare and the Students Chamber of Commerce have congratulated Chiamaka Orji Precious Macaney, founder of Precious Macaney Sustainable Solutions (BeeKeeper), following her selection as a recipient of the Federal Government’s N1 million Agribusiness Grant.
The grant was awarded during the launch of the Youth in Agribusiness Land Trust Fund (YiALTF) on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Abuja Continental Hotel. The initiative, spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, seeks to address food insecurity, create jobs, and empower young entrepreneurs through access to land, technology, and financial support.
The student groups described Chiamaka’s achievement as a testament to the growing impact of youth-led innovation in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
As founder of Precious Macaney Sustainable Solutions, a sustainable beekeeping enterprise, Chiamaka has demonstrated how young entrepreneurs can contribute to agricultural development while creating economic opportunities and promoting environmental sustainability.
