Honourable Emmanuel Oladokun, representative of Oye Constituency 1 in the Ekiti State Youth Parliament, has commended youths for their massive turnout and active participation in a three-day Microsoft Excel training programme.
The training attracted more than 180 students and young people, who participated throughout the programme and acquired practical knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other digital skills.
Oladokun described the impressive participation as a demonstration of the youths’ eagerness to learn, develop relevant skills and embrace opportunities for personal and professional growth.
He commended the participants for their punctuality, enthusiasm, dedication and active involvement throughout the three-day programme.
According to him, the success of the training was largely driven by the participants’ willingness to learn, improve themselves and acquire skills relevant to today’s digital economy.
The lawmaker also expressed appreciation to the Lagos Imperial Lions Club for its continued commitment to learning, capacity development and youth advancement.
He noted that the club’s support and partnership contributed significantly to the success and impact of the training.
Oladokun, while expressing a heartfelt “big thank you” to all participants, said the massive turnout had further strengthened his resolve to support initiatives that provide young people with opportunities to acquire practical and relevant skills.
He reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, capacity building and human capital development, stressing that equipping young people with knowledge and practical skills remains a meaningful investment in the future of the community.
The Microsoft Excel training provided participants with skills that could support their academic pursuits, career development, entrepreneurship and workplace productivity.
