How to Apply for FRSC Recruitment 2026: Requirements, Portal and Deadline

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has commenced its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for various positions across its Officer, Marshal Inspector and Road Marshal Assistant cadres.

The Corps announced that interested applicants can submit their applications through the official online recruitment portal as part of efforts to strengthen its workforce and enhance road safety operations across the country.

According to the recruitment notice, vacancies are available under three major categories: the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspector Cadre and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre.

For the Officer Cadre, applicants must possess relevant university degrees from recognised institutions, as well as a valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate where applicable.

Candidates applying for the Marshal Inspector Cadre are required to possess qualifications such as NCE, ND, HND or other relevant certificates, while applicants for the Road Marshal Assistant Cadre must have a minimum of three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), including English Language and Mathematics.

The FRSC also stated that applicants seeking positions as drivers or motorcycle riders must possess the appropriate class of valid driver’s licence.

Requirements and Application Process

The Corps listed general requirements for applicants, including Nigerian citizenship by birth, good character, physical and medical fitness, and possession of all necessary credentials for screening.

Applicants are expected to complete and submit their applications online through the official recruitment portal within the stipulated application period.

According to the notice, the application window will remain open for four weeks beginning from Friday, July 3, 2026.

The FRSC warned prospective applicants against recruitment scams, stressing that the exercise is completely free and that no payment is required at any stage of the process.

It urged candidates to provide accurate information during registration and adhere strictly to the official application guidelines.

The recruitment drive is aimed at boosting the Corps’ operational capacity and improving service delivery in road safety management nationwide.
