Nigerian music sensation Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has been crowned Africa’s highest-earning artist on Spotify, generating a staggering $1 million per month, according to music analytics platform Chart Masters.

This milestone underscores the global dominance of Nigerian artists in the music industry. Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy takes the second spot with $782,148 in monthly earnings, while rising star Tems secures third place with $660,210. South Africa’s Tyla is the only non-Nigerian in the top four, earning $607,804.

He further etched his name into history by winning a Grammy for his contribution to Beyoncé’s “Brown Skin Girl.”
