Inside Anambra: Hotel with 30 Hidden Graves and Shrine Exposed

Anambra State, located in southeastern Nigeria, has been grappling with rising security concerns in recent years, as criminal activities, including kidnapping, have plagued certain areas.

In a major breakthrough, the state government has uncovered a disturbing criminal hideout in the form of Udoka Golden Point Hotel and Suites, also known as “La Cruise Hotel,” along the Onitsha-Owerri Road in Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area.

Authorities acted swiftly, demolishing the hotel after uncovering over 30 hidden graves and a shrine, suspected to have been used for occult practices by the criminal gang operating in the area.

A video shared on the Anambra State New Media X page on Saturday night exposed the chilling discoveries, including well-partitioned graves on the top floor of the building.

The demolition is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to tackle crime and restore safety to its residents. The disturbing find serves as a reminder of the depth of the security challenges the state faces and the determination of authorities to dismantle criminal networks.
