Corpers’ Journey has partnered with The Harbinger to deliver a virtual media training with certification in Nigeria on data-driven infographics using Canva, now scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
The session, themed “Using Canva to Design Infographics: A Modern Approach to Data Journalism”, aims to equip young professionals, journalists, and storytellers across Nigeria with digital storytelling and infographic design skills for modern journalism practice.
The initiative is part of graduate empowerment programs beyond NYSC, reinforcing Corpers’ Journey’s mission to prepare Nigerian graduates for employability, mentorship, and access to opportunities. By collaborating with The Harbinger, known for its journalism workshops in Nigeria, the platform strengthens its commitment to media innovation and digital literacy training in a fast-evolving media landscape.
Participants will gain hands-on expertise in chart selection, design principles, ensuring data accuracy, and integrating infographics seamlessly into news content—skills essential for advocacy journalism and storytelling with data. At the end of the training, all participants will receive a certification in data journalism, boosting their professional credentials and employability in the digital era.
Speaking on the partnership, Ajayi Taiwo, Founder of Corpers’ Journey, said:
