The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), in partnership with global tech giant CISCO, has opened applications for a free online cybersecurity training programme to mark October Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
The initiative aims to boost digital safety awareness and equip Nigerians with essential cybersecurity skills needed in today’s digital economy.
Interested applicants can register via tinyurl.com/NTCYTraining25 before the application deadline on October 31, 2025.
According to NITDA, the training will cover topics such as cyber hygiene, data protection, online privacy, and threat prevention — empowering participants to stay safe and pursue cybersecurity-related careers.
The agency reaffirmed its commitment to promoting digital literacy and fostering Nigeria’s cybersecurity ecosystem through public–private partnerships.
