The FCT Police Command has apprehended notorious gang leader Abubakar Idris (aka Nishi) and his accomplices, Buhari Saidu and Musa Ahmadu Suleiman, in connection with the brutal murder of Ibrahim Danfulani.
The crime occurred on November 27, 2024, when the suspects, armed with knives, attacked Ibrahim due to Nishi’s frustration over Ibrahim’s relationship with a woman he had heavily invested in financially.
The gang also stole 18 cows belonging to the victim as compensation for Nishi’s perceived losses.
After fleeing the scene, Nishi was traced and arrested in Nasarawa State while attempting to recruit new gang members to kill the woman involved.
The swift action of the FCT Police Command, in collaboration with Agaita community members in Karu, led to the successful capture of all suspects. They are now in custody and will face prosecution.
The police remain committed to ensuring justice and protecting the public.
