The NYSC Kwara State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa Joshua, has debriefed the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream 2 Corps members as they prepare to conclude their orientation course at the Yikpata Camp.
During his address, he outlined expectations regarding the collection of posting letters and relocation approvals. He cautioned Corps members to avoid night travel and emphasized the need to remain security-conscious throughout their service year.

Mr. Onifade encouraged the Corps members to be exemplary ambassadors in their respective Places of Primary Assignment (PPA). He stressed the importance of maintaining the official channel of communication and warned them against granting press interviews without prior permission from the State Coordinator. Furthermore, he advised Corps members to always carry their identity cards and respect the customs and traditions of their host communities.
He highlighted the significance of both group and personal Community Development Service (CDS) projects and urged Corps members to take them seriously. He also emphasized the importance of continuing the SAED (Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development) post-camp training. To ease their deployment process, Mr. Onifade informed the Corps members that transportation arrangements had been made for those posted within and outside Kwara State.

In closing, the State Coordinator shared his personal contact details to provide support in case of any challenges. He commended outstanding camp officials and Corps members with letters of commendation for their exceptional contributions to the success of the orientation exercise. The session also featured the formal introduction of all Zonal and Local Government Inspectors to familiarize the Corps members with the officials they will relate with during their service year.
