Mrs. Abosede Aloba, the grieving mother of late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has confronted actor Yomi Fabiyi over allegations surrounding the cause of her son’s death.
The altercation occurred on Wednesday during a World Press Conference held at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos, where Fabiyi sought justice for the late singer.
Fabiyi claimed that Mohbad’s brother, Adura Aloba, had messaged him on Instagram, insinuating knowledge about the circumstances leading to the singer’s demise.
However, Mrs. Aloba vehemently denied the allegations, asserting that Adura was unaware of his brother’s death’s cause and accusing Fabiyi of implicating her son unjustly.

“They killed Mohbad, and you want me to lose his brother unjustly,” she exclaimed emotionally. “He knows nothing about his brother’s death; do not implicate my son. I’ve already lost Mohbad; I won’t let them take Adura too.”
Fabiyi maintained his stance, emphasizing that his concern lay with the content of the message and not necessarily the identity of the sender.
The confrontation reflects the ongoing tension as Mohbad’s family and supporters continue to demand justice and clarity regarding the circumstances of his untimely death.
