…….Batch C mobilisation begins amid limited camp capacity

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the release of call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members (PCMs).

The development was confirmed on the scheme’s official X handle on Tuesday, with a statement noting that the numbers were issued according to registration order.

According to NYSC, only about 40 percent of registered prospective corps members can be accommodated due to camp capacity limitations across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The scheme assured that those unable to secure placement in Batch C will be automatically deferred to the next exercise.

“Rest assured, those not accommodated will be moved to the next Batch, which will take place soon after the Batch C exercise,” the statement added.

NYSC emphasised its commitment to a smooth orientation and service year experience for all participants. “Management remains committed to ensuring a hitch-free orientation exercise and service year experience for our PCMs,” the statement read.

Online registration for 2025 Batch C opened on 4 November and ran through 9 November for both foreign-trained and locally-trained graduates. Pre-camp physical verification for foreign-trained graduates is scheduled from 9 to 13 November, while ICT actions will hold from 12 to 15 November. Corps-producing institutions will facilitate online printing and physical delivery of call-up letters between 16 and 18 November.
