Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, have separated after three decades together, according to reports by SPORT.

The divorce, described as “totally cordial, stable, and friendly,” comes after the couple gradually drifted apart due to prolonged time spent in different countries.

Guardiola and Serra met in 1994 and tied the knot in 2014 near Barcelona. They share three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17. While Guardiola resides in Manchester, Serra has been living full-time in Barcelona with their youngest daughter, Valentina, since 2019.

Serra, a Brazilian journalist, works with her family’s fashion company, Serra Claret. The decision to part ways was reportedly made in December, with the couple keeping the matter private within their inner circle.

Despite the personal challenges, Guardiola signed a new two-year contract with Manchester City in November, committing to the Premier League champions until 2027.
