NYSC Kwara Coordinator, Onifade, Honoured with Award of Excellence by Financial Inclusion CDS

The Kwara State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, was on Tuesday morning presented with an Award of Excellence by the Financial Inclusion Community Development Service (CDS) group, in recognition of his outstanding support, fatherly leadership, and commitment to Corps members’ welfare across the state.

The award presentation took place at the NYSC State Secretariat, where the CDS President, Ochieche George Ogar (KW/24B/2666), praised Mr. Onifade’s dedication to creating a supportive and enabling environment for Corps members. Ogar also commended the coordinator’s leadership style, which he described as inspiring and service-driven.

As part of their appreciation, the group donated 30 plastic chairs to the NYSC Secretariat to enhance the available infrastructure and contribute to improved service delivery.

The CDS group also presented an Award of Excellence in Performance to their supervisor, Mrs. Joseph Omotola, for her consistent guidance, encouragement, and dedication to the success of the CDS activities.

Responding, Mr. Onifade thanked the Financial Inclusion CDS members for their gesture, describing the donation as timely and impactful. He acknowledged the group’s efforts and applauded their sense of responsibility and initiative.

He urged Corps members to continue making meaningful contributions at their places of primary assignment and within their host communities. He further encouraged them to be exemplary ambassadors of their families and the NYSC scheme, always upholding values of integrity and service.
