The Heavenly Man Institute Global Outreach (THMI Global Outreach) has announced plans to host a virtual webinar aimed at equipping young believers to become positive influencers in Nigeria’s media landscape.
The webinar, themed “The Nigeria We Want” with the topic “The Media Throne,” is scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (WAT).
According to the organisers, the programme is designed to awaken, equip and mobilise young Nigerians to intentionally shape national narratives through responsible media engagement and value-driven communication.
The webinar is convened by the National Coordinator of THMI Global Outreach, Apostle Victor Adetolaju, MITPN, who said the initiative was inspired by the need to encourage a generation of young believers to move from passive media consumption to active participation in influencing society.
He noted that the media remains a powerful tool for shaping public perception, culture and national consciousness, stressing that meaningful national transformation requires individuals who can engage media platforms with integrity, excellence and purpose.
The event will feature media and creative industry professionals, including veteran broadcaster and founder of X2DTV, Omoọba Deji Irawo; media professional and storyteller, Simi Olaiya; and publisher and founder of Malicha Publishing, Ms. Lilian Akwunwa.
The session will be moderated by creative communicator Caleb D Psalmist.
Participants are expected to gain practical knowledge on the role of media in nation-building, navigating the media industry as people of faith, building influence with integrity and purpose, and effectively engaging traditional and digital media platforms.
THMI Global Outreach described the initiative as part of its commitment to raising Kingdom-minded individuals equipped to influence society through leadership, excellence and purposeful engagement.
The webinar is open to young believers, creatives, media practitioners, students and other Nigerians interested in using media as a tool for positive societal impact.
