NYSC Orders Institutions to Submit Hard Copies of Supplementary Senate Lists

NYSC memo on submission of hard copies of supplementary senate list April 2026

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a fresh directive to corps-producing institutions nationwide, mandating the submission of hard copies of supplementary Senate/Academic Board approved lists.

The development follows an earlier memo on the upload of supplementary Senate lists, signaling the next stage in the mobilisation process for prospective corps members (PCMs).

According to the latest memo released by the NYSC Directorate Headquarters and dated April 2, 2026, institutions are required to submit hard copies of the uploaded supplementary lists between April 8 and April 9, 2026.

The memo, addressed to registrars of corps-producing institutions with attention to Student Affairs Officers (SAOs), emphasized that physical submission of the documents is compulsory. It warned that failure to comply would disqualify affected graduates from participating in subsequent online registration.

“The submission of hard copies in person is mandatory for all SAOs as failure to do so will deprive your graduates of participation in the subsequent online registration,” the memo stated.

NYSC further directed that each page of the submitted documents must be duly stamped and signed by the institution’s registrar to ensure proper authentication and indemnification.

Despite the progression in documentation, there has been no official announcement from the scheme regarding the commencement of a new online registration exercise. However, indications suggest that any fresh registration window may be scheduled at a later date, potentially aligning with the Batch B mobilisation cycle.

Prospective corps members have been advised to remain calm, disregard unverified information, and rely solely on official updates from the NYSC.

The directive underscores the agency’s continued efforts to streamline the mobilisation process and ensure the integrity of records submitted by institutions across the country.
