Kumuyi Leads Prayer for America Ahead of Trump’s Inauguration

Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, participated in a special event ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration in the United States.

The Inauguration Praise and Prayer Convocation, held at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church, was organized by Jim Garlow’s Well Versed World ministry and Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council. The gathering brought faith leaders together to pray for the nation and its new administration.

During the event, Kumuyi issued a powerful prayer challenge to the American church, urging leaders to pursue holiness and righteousness as the key to spiritual renewal and national revival. Kumuyi prayed for President Trump’s wisdom and for unity within the church and leadership. He also asked for God’s guidance for the church’s role in influencing the government and America as a whole.

Kumuyi’s message was echoed in a prayer shared during an SRN News interview on the eve of the inauguration. He asked for God’s grace, wisdom, and focus to guide President Trump as he begins his presidency, ensuring that Christ remains at the forefront of his leadership.

In addition to the prayer event, Kumuyi met with various notable figures, including Robert Pittenger, former representative from North Carolina, and Lucas Miles, Senior Director at Turning Point USA Faith.

Today, President Donald Trump will be officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States during a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
