The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the commencement of the 2024 Batch C Stream II Orientation Camp across the country today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
The announcement, shared via the NYSC’s official X handle, #officialnyscng, on Tuesday, directed prospective corps members (PCMs) to report to their designated camps as stated on their call-up letters. PCMs are advised to bring along all required documents and necessary survival items.
In preparation for the service year, the NYSC also released deployment letters for the Batch C Stream II. PCMs can now access their deployment details to finalize preparations.
The NYSC issued a travel advisory, emphasizing safety during transit:
“PCMs are advised not to travel to Orientation Camps at night.”
Additionally, the scheme reminded PCMs to print and sign the mandatory addendum for submission during registration at the camps.
Relocation Details for Specific States
For logistical reasons, some PCMs initially deployed to Lagos State will have their orientation program in Ekiti, Ondo, or Osun camps. Similarly, those deployed to the Federal Capital Territory may attend orientation in Nasarawa or Kaduna camps.
The NYSC urged all PCMs to adhere to the directives and prepare adequately for the mandatory three-week orientation program. Updates will be shared on the scheme’s official social media platforms.
The NYSC, established in 1973, is a one-year mandatory service for Nigerian graduates under 30, aimed at promoting national unity and development. It includes a three-week orientation camp, primary assignment, and community development phases.

Your point of view caught my eye and was very interesting. Thanks. I have a question for you.
