Remita Begins Sale of 2025 UTME and Direct Entry Forms

Indigenous payment solutions provider, Remita, has officially commenced the sale of ePINs for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE) registration.

This follows the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)’s announcement of the registration commencement on Monday.

According to JAMB, the sales of UTME and Direct Entry forms will run from February 3 to April 7, 2025, allowing eligible candidates ample time to complete their registration.

Seamless Payment via Remita

Candidates can now purchase their ePINs through various Remita payment channels, including:

  • The Remita website
  • The Remita mobile app
  • Authorized agent locations nationwide

Remita, known for its secure and efficient transaction processing, remains a trusted partner for educational institutions, students, and businesses.

Commitment to Accessibility and Convenience

Speaking on the development, Head of Enterprise Assets Team at Remita, Chinedu Alisa, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to education and accessibility.

“Education should not be hindered by financial barriers. At Remita, we are committed to providing a seamless, inclusive, and secure payment experience that ensures every aspiring university student, regardless of their location or access to banking infrastructure, can register for the UTME without stress. This is more than just a transaction—it’s about unlocking opportunities.”

To further enhance accessibility, Remita has empowered agents, schools, and accredited partners nationwide, ensuring that ePINs are available through trusted networks. These partners also benefit from increased commissions when purchasing in bulk via Remita, reinforcing a sustainable ecosystem that broadens access to education.

Warning Against Unauthorized Price Hikes

Remita has cautioned against unauthorized price inflation by agents, emphasizing that ePINs must be sold strictly at JAMB’s approved prices. Any agent found violating these guidelines will face appropriate penalties.

JAMB’s Four-Tier Pricing Structure

JAMB has categorized UTME/DE registration fees into four different pricing structures to cater to the diverse financial capacities of candidates. Remita’s multi-channel payment system ensures that students, regardless of their location, can complete their registration process without disruptions, fostering a fair and transparent admissions process.

As registration progresses, students are encouraged to purchase their ePINs early to avoid last-minute rushes and potential transaction delays.
