Call for Discipline, Integrity, and Patriotism

The governor reminded corps members that their service year requires higher standards of conduct. According to him, the virtues of integrity, hard work, and wisdom must shine even brighter as the world watches their every action.

“As you settle into service here in Bayelsa State, be prepared to embrace both the challenges and the opportunities that await you,” he said. “Every achievement starts with a single step. See this service year as a foundation to grow, lead, and contribute meaningfully to your host communities.”

He further assured them of the state government’s support and hospitality, adding that Bayelsa could become a place where they find belonging, career growth, love, and even a lasting home.
