Ahmed Ibrahim, the retired Director of Legal Services for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a recent event held by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chapter of the party in Abuja, Ibrahim called on party members and Nigerians to remain patient with President Bola Tinubu as he works to improve the nation’s economic situation.

“I am honored to join a distinguished group of individuals who have significantly contributed to the progress of our great country,” Ibrahim said. “I am committed to working diligently to support all APC initiatives and programs.”

He highlighted the importance of supporting President Tinubu’s vision and policies, which include advancements in security, agriculture, education, health, youth development, and social investment. Ibrahim specifically praised the Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasizing youth inclusion in politics, economic recovery, and human rights.

Zakari Babale, the APC Secretary for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMEC), welcomed Ibrahim to the party. He stressed the importance of party unity for the development of both the FCT and the country. Babale expressed confidence that Ibrahim’s entry into politics would help revitalize the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Despite acknowledging some challenges within the FCT APC, Babale urged members to collaborate with the Tinubu administration to build a better society. He called for unity and dedication among party members to promote and implement the Federal Government’s policies and programs for the benefit of all citizens.
